Youth Summer Sunday School
Summer Schedule: 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Dates: 6/15, 6/22, 7/6 7/13, 7/20, 7/27, 8/3
A combined class for rising 7th-12th grades will meet in room 1 in the downstairs youth area. Through teen oriented videos, we will explore topics on a variety of social issues.
FALL SUNDAY SCHOOL
Registration 8/10 in the parish hall. First class 8/17. All classes in the downstairs youth area from 9:15 to 10:15 AM. Rite 13, grades 7 and 8, in room 2; J2A, grades 9 and 10, in room 3; YAC, grades 11 and 12, in room 1
YOUTH CONFIRMATION
The 9th and 10th grade J2A class will focus on confirmation preparation in fall 2008. Confirmation classes start 8/31 during the Sunday school hour. This confirmation class is also open to 11th and 12th graders who were not confirmed in 2007. Confirmation is scheduled for December 14 at the Cathedral of St. Phillip. YAC (Young Adults of the Church) is for rising 11th and 12th graders.
Sunday school meets from 9:15-10:15 AM in room 1 in the downstairs youth area.
During the school year, 11th and 12th graders are invited to join in fellowship the 2nd and 4th Sunday's of each month from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

REGULAR SUNDAY NIGHT YOUTH GROUP ON HIATUS FOR THE SUMMER. LOOK FOR SPECIAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR FUN AND FELLOWSHIP IN JUNE AND JULY!
Journey to Adulthood is the core program, which blends action and
contemplation in teaching young people faithful living. To prepare them for
adulthood, they learn six basic skills: active listening, negotiation,
assertion, research/information management, partnership and leadership. The
program also helps them understand and affirm Christian living. After two
years they are given an opportunity for Confirmation in fall 2008 and are acknowledged in the community as equipped for new levels of responsibility. They are
recognized as young adults, rather than children, and invited to make a holy
pilgrimage in spring 2009 at the end of the 2 year program.. J2A meets every Sunday morning during Sunday school and the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings for youth group. Feel free to call Deacon/Youth Minister
