2013 Annual Youth Retreat@ Camp Mikell in Toccoa, GA!!
January 19th-21st

If your youth (7th-12th grade) is interested in coming on the Retreat to Camp Mikell, please let Rebekah know as soon as possible! The cost is $100 per youth for lodging and meals for the weekend, and is due between now and when we leave for the retreat!

We will be leaving at 8:30 AM on Saturday, January 19th, and returning around 3 PM on Monday, January 21st.

The annual retreat is a great time for the youth to spend time together, and to grow as a community! We are asking each youth to bring a pack of juice boxes/water/sports drink, and a snack (both to be shared with the group).

Looking forward to seeing you on the retreat!

YAC PDF Print E-mail

YAC, which stands for “Young Adults of the Church,” nurtures the individual gifts and passions of young people. Youth delve deeper into Bible study, debate complex theological questions, and explore other religious traditions. Each young adult develops his or her own "credo" and is encouraged to take on a ministry in the life of the parish, all with the support of friends and the guidance of adult mentors. At the end of their second year, the young adults of our church plan and participate in a Group Mission Trip.  YAC helps guide participants through the life choices that go with graduating from high school, developing theological and spiritual tools that will last a lifetime.

If you have any questions about the YAC program, please feel free to contact
Rebekah Fontenot at 770-977-7473 (Ext 119)
