J2A PDF Print E-mail

J2A teaches skills for adulthood: active listening, negotiation, assertion, research, partnership, and leadership. Participants explore issues like poverty and violence, learn spiritual practices like prayer beads and meditation, and engage in conversations about important relationships and vocation. J2A youth prepare for and embark on a holy pilgrimage, to learn about God, other cultures, and themselves in a new context.  In the second year, youth are invited to prepare for Confirmation and, if they choose, to make an adult affirmation of faith. During weekly Sunday School, they meet with their teachers Don Loeber and Susan Prout.  Their leaders for Sunday evening youth group are Hal & Liz Barnes, and Mark Bullard!

The J2A group and their leaders will be journeying to Spain and Portugal in July 2013!
