Contributions Made Easy With Electronic Giving
This is a reminder that we offer electronic giving at St. Peter and St. Paul. Save time and simplify your life as you support our ministries. Our Electronic Giving program is an automated program that will allow you to make contributions without having to lift a pen to write a check or reach into your wallet for cash! This new giving option will work in the same manner as mortgages, loan payments, or insurance premiums that are automatically withdrawn from your bank accounts.
Here is how it works: You authorize a specified amount of money to be electronically transferred directly on a regular basis from your checking or savings account to the parish account. Your authorization can be made for pledges to our operating fund or our capital campaign or to specific amounts for both. You also specify the frequency of the transfer, which can be weekly, semi-monthly, or monthly.
It is fast, safe and easy! In fact, it is less risky than checks, as it cannot be lost, stolen, or destroyed. The electronic transfer will cost you NOTHING and you save the cost of the check. As with traditional giving, St. Peter and St. Paul will issue you periodic contribution statements for your tax records, and your bank statements will provide you with a record of transfer as additional proof of your contributions. Donations via electronic transfer can be made to our general operating fund or our capital campaign fund.
Of course you can cancel your authorization of transfer at any time by notifying us in writing. But we believe that once you have enjoyed the convenience and savings of this new program, you won’t want to go back to the “old-fashioned” way of contributing to your church!
Electronic giving yields very significant benefits for you: the satisfaction of giving to God first, easier to fulfill stewardship commitments, and allowing you to give even when you are away. Our parish benefits from more predictable cash flow and less work for our staff.
